Ethiopian Diaspora works to facilitate volunteering opportunities in Ethiopia, while also facilitating volunteer projects in the communities where we live. We aim to harness the wealth of knowledge, resources, creativity, and ingenuity of our people for the benefit of all Ethiopians. Ethiopian Diaspora seeks to collaborate with organizations to create opportunities for interested professionals who wish to share their knowledge and expertise with their counterparts in Ethiopia.

Networking

Networking is one of the most important pillars of Ethiopian Diaspora. With the help of technology, we create a strong and cohesive network of Ethiopians who long to be connected and involved in the development and progress of our people. The Ethiopian Diaspora website acts as a virtual platform where Ethiopians around the world interact and work collaboratively on specific tasks. In-person networking events will be organized. We as a people are our biggest resource. If we can tap into our community, we can be our strongest advocate and ally.

Social Service/Advocacy

Providing legal, moral, and financial support to organizations and individuals in dire need is a crucial aspect of the Ethiopian Diaspora's mission. As diasporas, we have often found ourselves scattered and displaced, sometimes without the comfort of family or friends, isolated in an unfamiliar society. Consequently, certain fellow Ethiopians are compelled to reside in locations where they are susceptible to abuse and vulnerability. It is imperative that we take action in such circumstances by offering the requisite legal, moral, and financial assistance.

Through voluntary efforts, networking, and fundraising endeavors, the Ethiopian Diaspora strives to allocate resources towards the enhancement of existing educational and healthcare infrastructures. We collaborate with esteemed colleges and universities to broaden the scope of research centers and facilities, where innovation and invention can be harnessed to address the multifaceted challenges faced by our fellow citizens.
